Atari 2600

OBJECTIVE

This project aimed to design a promotional poster for the Atari 2600, with a focus on its retro-futuristic appeal. The poster needed to highlight the Atari 2600 console and a Mr. Do cartridge, while incorporating elements of classic vaporwave and retro-futuristic aesthetics to attract all the nostalgic gamers.

PROCESS

The design process started by creating a retro-inspired illustration of the Atari 2600 using Adobe Illustrator. The illustration was meticulously crafted with multiple effects, achieving a near-photorealistic appearance. The poster also featured a tech line art illustration of the Atari 2600’s parts to highlight its design. To enhance the retro-futuristic feel, the Atari logo was styled with vaporwave-inspired colors and gradients. The background featured a subtle gradient of white and light grey, with the large Atari logo as the central design element.
